Some people experience little or no symptoms from wisdom teeth, while others may have quite a different experience.  Although many wisdom teeth are removed prior to becoming a problem, there are still several symptoms that a person may encounter with impacted wisdom teeth.  Initially, there may be a throbbing pain in the back of the mouth.  It may almost feel like pressure against the last tooth in the mouth.  The wisdom teeth can develop misaligned and may press on nerves that they would normally not touch.  There can also be tender or bleeding gums.  Some people notice a swelling in the jaw or swollen glands.  Wisdom teeth symptoms should not be overlooked, as they can cause severe pain, complications, and infection.
